Description
PVC Drainage PIPE Fittings
DWV Fittings are used for drain, waste and vent applications only. These fittings are not designed or tested to handle pressure. DWV fittings are used most commonly in plumbing applications where a continuous smooth media flow is very important. DWV fittings come as a glue or gasketed system. Fitting sizes range from 1 ½” up to 24”.
Standard
DWV fittings are white in color and light in weight. DWV fitting are constructed with less sharp angles and have more longshaped bends for ease of movement inside the fitting. There is a wide range of DWV (Drain Waste Vent) fittings at extremely competitive prices. DWV fittings meet ASTM D 311, 1866, 1784 standards as well as being NSF International Standard 14 certified.
Features
Drain fittings made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). PVC-DWV fittings are used for residential and commercial sanitary systems. PVC is one of the thermoplastic materials most frequently specified for a variety of products used in the pipe and fittings industry. Due to its excellent rigidity, corrosion and chemical resistance properties, it is also used in many chemical related areas. Meets ASTM D 2665 and D 3311. These standards provide the material and test requirements as well as the fitting geometries for PVC fittings. These fittings are joined by threading or solvent cementing and can easily be connected to steel, copper or cast iron through the use of transition fittings.
